Hearing Him/ Escuchandole a El

      You know those small moments when the Lord touches your heart, calms your spirit, clears your mind, etc. ?! How often do we even take the time to recognize them? I have focused more lately  (or you could say focused on hearing Him) and have noticed His help in so many small ways. As I have read books,  "The Work and the Glory" especially comes to mind, and even more so in "Fire In the Covenant", they spoke to me, confirming thoughts and feelings I had been struggling with. Or just out of the blue a suddenly peaceful heart or a clear distinct thought! As I am studying the scriptures one just seems to jump off the page at me or studying a lesson and part of it touches my heart profoundly! These are not huge dramatic voices nor angels nor shaking earth, but they are small things, quiet things, and yet profound things, that we need to focus on! And when we do, even for those few seconds of time that some of them last, they help us feel and see that He does send help, comfort and strength to see us through.

     Sabes estos momentos cortos y pequeños cuando el Senor te toca el corazón, tranquiliza tu espíritu, clarifica tu mente, etc.?! Cuantas veces tomamos el tiempo de reconocerles por lo que son? Últimamente he enfocado mas (o podrías decir he enfocado en escucharle a El) y he notado Su ayuda en tantas maneras pequeñas. Al leer libros, "La Obra y La Gloria" en especial viene a mi mente y aun mas "Fuego en el Convenio" me hablaron a mi,  confirmando pensamientos y sentimientos que hubiesen estado estorbándome! O de repente viene una paz al corazón o un pensamiento muy claro y distinto! Al estar estudiando las escrituras uno casi se salta de la pagina hacia mi o estudiando una lección y una parte toca mi corazón muy profundamente! Estos no son voces grandes y dramáticas, no son ángeles ni la tierra temblando, pero son cosas pequeñas, cosas quietas, pero aun muy profundas, en que tenemos que enfocar! Y cuando lo hacemos, aun por los preciosos segundos de tiempo que tardan algunos, ellos nos ayudan a sentir y ver que El nos manda ayuda, consuelo, y fuerza para poder seguir adelante!
