Love Is Patient
Last week I talked a bit about love being more than just a one day or a one month holiday thing! It's a day to day, minute to minute thing we all need to work on. We need to learn to love ourselves as well as to love those around us. One of the qualities of love is patience. And patience is not always easy, but it is so essentially important. We need to learn to be patient with ourselves and our weaknesses, recognizing that we cannot overcome them in one day. It may take time, but if we keep at it we will slowly, but surely overcome them. And some things will be harder for us than others. Some will require more work and effort on our part. That does not mean we can't overcome them. It will just require more work, effort and patience We also need to be patient with others. We don't know what they are going through and maybe they are really trying to overcome their own problems.
