Stuck In The Study Rut!/Atrapado En Una Rutina de Estudios!

     I have read and/or studied the scripures for as long as I can remember and at one point several years ago  I realized that I WAS studying, but it seemed the same thing over and over so I put my thinking cap on and came up with ideas that pushed me a bit further AND helped me apply what I learned to my life in a better way. I also was always on the lookout for ideas from others. So I share with you some I have done or am still doing and others I plan to do in the future being aware of the fact that you may doing some of them yourself already! But, hey, it's always good to share good things, right?

1.   Write insights about what you read; by verse, by chapter, or however you like...it's your insight!

2.   Write questions that come to you and then use more study time to answer them.

3.   You could also answer the following questions:

       a. What was the purpose of this?

       b. What was God trying to teach from this experience? 

       c. How did those involved feel?

       d. What did they learn?

       e. What does this mean to me personally?

       f. What can I learn from it?

       g. How can I apply it in my life?

       h. Does it strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ and His Gospel?

4.   As you read each chapter, circle verses that really impress you and then research other scriptures            that  follow the same thought and write a talk about it. Then you have lots of talks all prepared!

5.   Summarize in one word, phrase or sentence what you learned from each chapter.

6.   Try your artistic ability and draw your own representation of each verse or chapter! You may end            up  with your very own illustrated copy of the scriptures!

     These are just a few ideas, but I am sure you can come up with tons more to make your scripture study just a bit more in depth, interesting and, hey, even down right fun as you learn and grow spiritually.

     He leído y/o estudiado las escrituras por todo mi vida y llegue a un punto hace anos atrás que me di cuenta que ESTABA estudiando, pero parecía lo mismo cada vez y así me puse a pensar de otras ideas  que me ayudaría esforzarme mas en los estudios Y ayudarme aplicar mejor en mi vida lo que aprendí. También siempre estaba mirando por ideas de otros. Así me gustaría compartir algunas ideas que he utilizado, o estoy utilizando ahora o planeo hacerlo en el futuro, teniendo presente de que tu puedes estar utilizando algunos de estos ideas por ti mismo ahora. Pero siempre es bueno a compartir buenas cosas, no?

1.    Escribe percepciones de lo que lees: por versículo, o capitulo, o como TU quieres, es tuyo!

2.    Escribe preguntas que te viene y luego estudias mas en como contestarlas.

3.    Podrías  contestar las siguientes preguntas:

       a. Que era el propósito de esto?

       b. Que es lo que Dios estaba intentando a ensenar con esta experiencia?

       c. Como se sintieron los involucrados?

       d. Que aprendieron?

       e. Que significa esto para mi personalmente?

       f. Que puedo aprender de ello?

       g. Como puedo aplicarlo en mi vida?

       h. Fortaleza mi fe en Jesucristo y Su Evangelio?

4. Al leer cada capitulo, marcar versículos que te dan un gran impresión y luego investiga otras                  escrituras que siguen la misma idea y escribe un discurso con ellos. Así tendrás muchos discursos          ya listos!

5. Resume en una palabra o frase lo que aprendiste del capitulo.

6. Prueba tu talento de arte y dibuje tu propia representación de cada versículo o capitulo! Puedes              llegar a tener tu propio libro de escrituras ilustrado por ti. 

     Estos solo son algunas ideas, pero  estoy segura que podrás pensar en muchos mas por hacer tus estudios de las escrituras un poco mas profundo y interesante y, bueno, aun un poco mas divertido al aprender y crecer espiritualmente!
