Scripture Fulfilled/Escrituras Cumplidas

      In my scripture studies lately I have been so astounded at how they are being fulfilled. So many of the prophecies  about the last days are no longer things I figured would happen in the future. We are actually living so many of them. I read a scripture the other day that really made me stop and think about all the wicked things going on all around us lately. And it brought me to tears to think that so many are actually falling into the devil's traps and this scripture just brings it out even stronger. "Wo, wo, wo unto this people; wo unto the inhabitants of the whole earth except they shall repent; for the devil laugheth, and his angels rejoice, because of the slain of the fair sons and daughters of my people; and it is because of their iniquity and abominations that they are fallen!" (Book of Mormon; 3 Nephi 9:2) And so many of those "fair sons and daughters" are falling spiritually into the devils traps and he does laugh at each one he traps  and his angels do rejoice at each one that falls. We need to keep fighting against the wickedness around us! We need to do so unitedly as spirit brothers and sisters! We need to center our lives in Christ!

     Últimamente en mis estudios de la escrituras he sentido asombrado en como están cumpliéndose. Tantas de las profecías en cuanto a los últimos días son cosas que pensé que pasaría en el futuro. Estamos viviendo muchos de ellos ahora mismo.  Leí una escritura el otro día que me hizo parar y pensar en cuanto a todas las cosas malas pasando a nuestro alrededor últimamente.  Al leerlo me hizo llorar al pensar que hay en realidad muchos cayendo en las trampas del diablo y esta escritura la clarifica mas fuerte."Ay, ay, ay de este pueblo! Ay de los habitantes de toda la tierra, a menos que se arrepientan; porque el diablo se ríe y sus ángeles se regocijan, a causa de la muerte de los bellos hijos y hijas de mi pueblo; y es por motivo de sus iniquidades y abominaciones que han caído!"(Libro de Mormón; 3 Nefi 9:2) Y hay tantos de los "hijos y hijas bellos" que están cayendo espiritualmente en las trampas del diablo y el se ríe a cada uno que el atrapa y sus ángeles se regocijan por cada uno que se cae. Tenemos que seguir luchando contra la maldad que nos rodea! Tenemos que hacerlo tan unidos como hermanos y hermanas espirituales! Tenemos que centrar nuestras vidas en Cristo!
