Love/Amor

      I have had my mind so full of so many thoughts lately that it's hard to settle on one, but because of the time of year and it being the Sabbath, I would like to just share a part of my testimony of Jesus Christ. And, yes, I have had tons of thoughts about Him and all He has done for us, as well as, what He has asked us to do for Him. And those things He asks of us, like all good leaders, He has already done. He does not ask us to do anything He wouldn't do, or as I said, hasn't done already,  AND He knows that as we try to do them we are becoming more and more like Him. So technically this is a win/win situation. Right?  He asks us to have faith, to repent, to be obedient, to be patient, to be kind, to show respect, to turn away from temptation and evil and on and on! But everything He asks us to do can be brought together in one word LOVE!!! If you seriously stop and take the time to ponder on it,  you will realize that everything Christ did He did for love of His Father and for us! And everything He asks us to do is because He loves us and wants us to gain that same love for Him, for our Heavenly Parents, for ourselves and for one another. Again, the win/win because the more we do those things He asks of us, the more love we have and the more love we have the stronger and truer our ability to stay strong and true through any test we face. It is our love for our Savior, for our Heavenly Parents, ourselves and one another that will see us through these last days of trouble and gloom and usher us into the perfect light of eternal love!!

     Mi mente ha sido tan lleno de tantos diferentes pensamientos que es difícil escoger solo uno, pero siendo el tiempo del ano que es y ademas, siendo el domingo, quiero compartir una parte de mi testimonio de Jesucristo.Y, si, he tenido un montón de pensamientos en cuanto a El y todo lo que El ha hecho por nosotros, ademas, de lo que El nos ha pedido hacer por El. Y las cosas que El pide de nosotros, como todos lideres buenos, El ya los ha hecho. El no nos pide hacer algo que El no estaría dispuesto hacer, o como he dicho, ya lo ha hecho. Y El sabe que si intentamos hacerlos llegamos a ser mas y mas como El. Así, técnicamente, es una situación ganar - ganar. Verdad? El nos pide tener fe,  arrepentirnos, ser obediente, ser paciente, ser bondadoso, mostrar respecto, apartarnos de tentación y el mal y sigue y sigue. Pero todo lo que nos pide se puede poner en una palabra AMOR!!! Si te detienes seriamente y te tomas el tiempo para reflexionar sobre ellos te darás cuenta de que todo lo que hizo Cristo lo hizo por amor a Su Padre y por nosotros. Y todo lo que El nos pide hacer es porque nos ama y quiere que ganemos el mismo amor por El, por nuestros Padres Celestiales, por nosotros mismos y por el uno al otro. Otra vez, ganar - ganar porque cuanto mas hacemos esas cosas que El nos pide, mas amor tenemos y cuanto mas amor tengamos, mas fuerte y verdadera sera nuestra capacidad para mantenernos fuertes y fieles a través de cualquier prueba que enfrentemos. Es nuestro amor por nuestro Salvador, nuestros Padres Celestiales, nosotros mismos y el uno al otro que nos acompañara a través de estos últimos días de angustia y tristeza y que nos conducirá a la luz perfecta del amor eterno!
