Judge Not!/No Juzguéis!

      I shared a scripture on my facebook post the other day that has had me thinking a lot so I just thought I would share my further thoughts! The scripture was 1 John 4:20: "If a man say, I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" As I posted that scripture, I had the distinct thought of the rioting and hate and protests and all that is going on in our world today. How many of the people involved in and supportive of those issues are truly Christians? Do they believe in God? Do they insist that they are good God fearing people? I realize that many do not believe in God anymore, but if any of them still do they need to read and re-read their scriptures, This one alone should make them stop and think, but what about Matthew 7:1-5: "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull the mote out of  thine eye; and behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast the beam out of thine own eye; and then  shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."?  This totally reminds me of something I was taught as a kid: when you point at someone else there are three fingers pointing back as you. None of us on this earth is perfect, or we wouldn't be here, but it is our responsiblity, as these scriptures plainly say, to do all we can to get ourselves right first. For as Christ also said in John 8:7 "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone..."  Couldn't be much plainer what Christ is asking us to do. And if you stop and think about it, IF we could just remember to look inside ourselves first,  most of all these messes going on around us would never occur. And, oh, how, awesomely wonderful would that be?!?!?!

     Compartí una escritura en mi facebook el otro día que me hizo pensar mucho, así pensé en compartir mis otros pensamientos en cuanto a ella!  La escritura era: 1 Juan 4:20: "Si alguno dice: Yo amo a Dios, pero aborrece a su hermano, es mentiroso, Porque el que no ama a su hermano a quien a visto, como puede amar a Dios a quien no ha visto?" Cuando puse esto en mis facebook me vino muy claramente el pensamiento de todos los disturbios y el odio y las protestas y todo lo que esta pasando en el mundo hoy en día. Cuantos de estas personas envueltos y apoyando estas cosas son Cristianos verdaderos? Creen en Dios? Insisten que son buenas personas que dejan Dios guiar sus vidas? Reconozco que muchos ni creen en Dios en estos días, pero si hay algunos de ellos que creen en El deben leer y volver a leer sus escrituras. Esta escritura misma deben hacerles pararse y pensar, pero que de Mateo 7:1-5: "No juzguéis, para que no seáis juzgados. Porque con el juicio con que juzgáis seréis  juzgados, y con la medida con que medís, se os volverá a medir. Y por que miras la paja que esta en el ojo de tu hermano, y no echas de ver la viga que esta en tu propio ojo? O, como dirá a tu hermano: Déjame sacar la paja de tu ojo, y he aquí la viga en tu propio ojo? Hipócrita! Saca primero la viga de tu propio ojo, y entonces veras bien para sacar la paja del ojo de tu hermano." Eso me recuerdo de algo que aprendí de nina: cuando señala a otras personas, siempre hay tres dedos apuntando hacia ti mismo. Ninguno de nosotros en este mundo es perfecto, o no estaríamos aquí, pero es nuestro responsabilidad, como dicen claramente estas escrituras, a hacer todo lo posible a mejorar primero a nosotros mismos. Porque como dijo Cristo en Juan 8:7 "El que entre vosotros este sin pecado sea el primero en arrojar la piedra..." No podía ser mas claro lo que Cristo esta pidiendo de nosotros. Y si paras a pensarlo, SI podríamos recordar a mirar adentro de nosotros mismos primero, la mayoría de todos los líos en este mundo hoy en día nunca ocurriría. Y, ay, que maravilloso seria eso, no ?!?!?!
