Living the Prophesies/Viviendo las Profecias

      As I read the Book of Mormon it astounds me how much of it sound like what we are living through today and yet in reality it does not surprise me! Those things alone testify to us of its truthfulness. May I just share a few verses and as you read them stop and think about the world around us and I do believe you will see what I mean! "And I will give children unto them to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor; the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honorable. And my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they who lead thee cause thee to err and destroy the way of thy paths." You can break each part down, look around you and see the reality of it in our world today. Take the time to think about it, ponder it, ask me questions, write your own conclusions, etc., (oh, and share them here on my blog) and then let's consider what we need to do to not walk down that path!

     Al leer el Libro de Mormon me maravilla lo mucho que parece la manera en que vivimos ahora, pero en realidad no me sorprende nada! Estas cosas mismas testifican de la veracidad de ello. Puedo compartir algunos versículos y al leerlos párate por unos minutos y piensa del mundo hoy y creo que veras lo que quiero decir! "Y ninos les pondré por príncipes, y ninos pequeños serán sus gobernantes. Y el pueblo se hará violencia unos a otros, y cada cual contra su prójimo. El nino se portara altivamente con el anciano, y el villano contra el noble. Los opresores de mi pueblo son ninos, y mujeres lo gobiernan. Oh pueblo mio, los que te guían te hacen errar, y pervierten el curso de tus sendas!" Puedes mirar cada parte separada y mirar a tu alrededor y ver la realidad de nuestro mundo hoy en día. Toma el tiempo a pensarlo, meditarlo, hazme preguntas, escribe tus propias conclusiones, etc. (ay, y compártelos aquí en mi blog) y luego consideremos lo que tenemos que hacer para no continuar en este camino!
