You're Not Alone
Do you ever go through those times when you just want to give up? When you feel it is more than you can handle? When you feel you are fighting your way through life alone? May I just assure you in several ways that you are NOT alone! I do not think there is a person on this earth that has not felt these same things at one time or another. Some more than others, for sure! Some people seem to handle it so well that we don't think they have ever been through what we are going through. Maybe not the exact same circumstances nor difficulties, but everyone is tested and everyone's tests are tailored to them and their personalities. I never thought I would face the circumstances I have had to deal with in the last few years and sometimes, especially when overly tired or discouraged, I feel like I just can't keep going. The last few years have been especially devastating for me and then this last week fighting a cold bug who is making up for several years with no colds, among others necessary issues, well, I have had my moments of feeling so alone. But in reality I am not. I have 5 wonderful sons, their wives and my grandchildren who are there for me. Other family members and many friends who just keep cheering me on and I am ever so grateful for all of them. But they also have their own lives and sometimes when those difficult moments hit it can be at inconvenient times, so then what? Because in reality you feel alone! But are you? NO! You are never alone because you have Heavenly Parents who love you and want the best for you and you have your dear brother and Savior, Jesus Christ who totally understands and is there for you. And today I was reminded of this again, as we often need to be reminded, from a song I had heard before, but the Lord knew I needed to hear it once more. Please go to google and search for "You Are Not Alone" by Michael McLean and vocals by John Cannon. The words of the song and the video will touch your heart and will help you remember that HE is always there for you!!! YOU ARE NOT ALONE . . . EVER!!! And I hope and pray that we can all remember that through the difficult trials that lay ahead of us all!!!
