From Sea to Shining Sea

     America the beautiful! I have always been so grateful for this beautiful country we live in. There are so many songs that come to mind as I think of our country! There are also many scriptures that fill my thoughts as well! And so many people who have contributed to making our country what it is: many many many from the past, quite a few still in the present and I hope that the future will still see people  who respect what our country represents! In all the songs, scriptures and even the people themselves, it does not use the word "perfect"! Perfection will never be reached in this world, as it is, but it has the potential to become better and better! And how does a country become better? By the people who live in it becoming better! After all, every country has it beautiful scenery, flora, fauna and humans. but it is the people who live in the ocuntry who make or break it. History will verify that very fact! As you read about countries of greatness that have come and gone it happens because the people make or break it. My prayer is that we as Americans can remember those lessons taught so plainly in so many ways and places! May we strive to become better, kinder, nobler people so that our country will be recognized once again as a better, kinder, nobler country!!! And may we start now in preparation for the Independence Day celebration and then continue to move forward with confident, united strides as the Americans we can and should be!! God bless America and the people that make her what she is from sea to shining sea!!!
