Testimony!!!

      I have had all kinds of ideas that I wanted to write about since messing up last week!! Course I was out of town helping family last Sunday and then in the middle of this week was presented with a heart-breaking family emergency and so my mind has been all over the place. Because of that I am just going to share my testimony of how very very very grateful I am for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how it assures us that families CAN be together forever. The loss of loved ones to death can be so very hard at any age, but when it is an infant that has never had the chance to even draw breath it is overwhelming! Without the gospel I would not have been able to handle this tradgedy! But the gospel assures me that this sweet little girl will be resurrected in the perfect body she was never allowed to use here on earth and that she WILL be able to learn and grow from infancy to adulthood and continue on through eternity as we all will be able to. I am so very grateful to have the plan and purpose of this life so clearly shown to us and that our Savior Jesus Christ was willing to set the perfect example for us to follow, take our sins, mess-ups and mistakes upon him and suffer for them and later give His life for us. I am grateful that it did not end there and it will not end there for any of us. I am grateful for His resurrection that will allow us that some gift! And where we end up for eternity is determined by how we live our lives here. That also helps motivate me to try harder to follow Christ's example as best I can. None of us are perfect and we never will be here upon this earth, but as we make those consistent steps forward and upward, following Christ's example, little by little we become closer to Him and to our Heavenly Parents. I know these things to be true for I have felt them over and over and over again so many times in my life. And facing this heartbreaking test this week has only made it more clear and sure in my heart and soul. I am so very grateful for the love and support of family members, friends and my Savior and my Heavenly Parents who keep pulling for me and helping me through the trials, difficulties and struggles in my life. I pray that each of you will examine your own hearts and seek the Lord's guidance in your lives so that you, too, can know that we can share eternity as family and friends!
