Gratitude For . . .

     I am just going to express my gratitude this day for the wonderful blessing the Lord gives us twice a year to receive His counsel and guidance through living prophets and apostles. I have always enjoyed General Conference and when I was younger I always thought there must be elves that spied on me, like for Christmas, because the speakers always seemed to to talk to me, of the exact things I needed to hear. As I have grown older I realize that the talks given are sent to our leaders from the Lord and they are the things that we all need to hear in our lives. True that some apply more than others to each of us in our different circumstances, but we can learn so much from each talk. And for those that truly hit home with us, we can know that the Lord loves and cares enough for us to send us messages through our leaders. And so many times  it gives me the courage and strength to keep going and trying to just stay firm and true in my efforts to do what I can to follow Him! Again, just so very grateful for the added spirit and help and guidance General Conference always gives to me! I hope and pray that it has done the same for you! God bless you my dear friends and loved ones to keep going and just doing the best you can to follow the Lord's counsel and guidance for each of us!!!
