Small and Simple

      Have you ever wondered if you will ever be blessed to see a miracle or to participate in one? I have given this a lot of thought lately because President Nelson repeatedly told us that miracles will happen all around us. I kept wondering about that and as I have considered somethings that I have seen or been a part of this week I have truly seen miracles. Okay, I haven't seen any blind man made to see or someone raised from the dead, but who says a miracle has to be something huge and fabulous? I am referring to some small and simple things that I took the time to notice and think about! I will share just a few from this week, BUT if we truly stay focused I know we can see "small and simple' miracles in our lives every day. Tuesday I had the joy of spending some time in the afternoon with a dear friend. Just the time to visit and share thoughts and feelings helped me feel more rejuvenated and ready for the rest of the week. That is a miracle for me because I have been struggling lately to feel up and positive. My Temple shift Thursday was so wonderful. The Lord blessed me so and answered my personal prayers for that time and I could have floated home by the peace I felt! Nothing huge, but, oh, so personally positive and uplifting to me!! Then Saturday I was able to spend some time with a few family members in celebration of a birthday for a granddaughter. Because of circumstances beyond control only 2 of my grandchildren were there with her as well as the parents and me. BUT, oh, the joy of watching those 3 grandchildren, under 4 years old, pull together and play and help one another! I felt like I was in heaven watching angels!! Afterwards I could have flown home filled with joy of such a personal beautiful experience. And each one to me is a miracle in my book. Each one added to my life in a positive, uplifting, strengthening way that I have really needed lately. 

     Miracles can be those small and simple things that keep us going, that build us up step by step, that just bring peace and joy to our souls. So let's do our best to focus on those small and simple miracles in our lives and I am sure we will see, hear, feel, and experience many many more!!!
