In Honor of Fathers
Again, I would be remiss if I did not write a bit in honor of Fathers! Fathers can do so very much as they provide righteous leadership in their families. Especially blessed are those families who have fathers that lead in patience, love, understanding, and positive righteous discipline, leading their family by their examples! And who stick to their fatherhood responsiblities through thick and thin in helping their families learn and grow!
I was blessed with a hard working father who taught all of us, his chilodren, proper work ethic. And when I see people who are not willing to take pride in their work, giving it their all, and/or going the extra mile, it fills me with so much gratitude for my father who always taught us proper work ethic in word, but ever so much more in his example. He also taught us to be responsible and upright and honest. I will ever be grateful for his lessons in my life!! He was also a great stroy teller!!
I am also grateful for my grandfathers, my uncles, and my 2 wonderful brothers who used to tease me like crazy, but have always been there for me!!
I am also so very grateful for my 5 sons who love and support me in so many ways! I am so grateful that I can honestly say that each of them has a strong and responsible work ethic! And I am so very grateful for their role as fathers, blessing me with such a wonderful array of the greatest grandchildren in the world. (And, yes, I may be a bit prejudiced there!)
And last, but by far not least, in fact probably the very first and highest of gratitudes for fathers, I express to my Heavenly Father, who has blessed me in so many ways that I could never count them all. BUT He did bless me with all of these father figures I have mentioned above, as well as many other blessings! So may I just thank Him and all the fathers in my life, and those throughout the world that are truly striving to be good, upright fathers!!!
