The Relation Ship

     This is going to be a short blog because I want it to introduce a series of blogs that I would like to write about. And, yes, they all have to do with "relation ship(s)"! And, yes, I did split the word relationship into relation ship! Why? To help you think of relationships on a little different level. Let's say that the Lord has decided to destroy the earth with another flood. We know that is not going to happen because the next ending will be a bit warmer and drier, like being too close to the firepit! But that's a whole other story! So back to the ship. This time, however, let's just say that there are several ships because maybe this time a few more people listened to the warnings and decided to save themselves on the ships. And, yes, there may be many ships, and yes, we may discuss them, but the basic ship we want to discuss is the one that we find ourselves on. There will be lots of people on it. Maybe some you know and some you don't. And among those many people you will have different levels of relationships with them from day one. So I am going to use our "relation ship" to discuss the different types of relationships we may have on our ship. I hope that you will take some time this week to consider the many relationships you share with people in many different ways! You are totally welcome to suggest different relationships that we could find on our "relation ship" because I would love ANY input from any of you. And I may include your thoughts in my blogs, if you are okay with that. So I hope you have smooth sailing in of your "relation ship" this week and look forward to discussing it a bit more next week!!!
