Short and True!!

      King David from the Old Testament was a very righteous king and leader of his people UNTIL he allowed himself to let down his guard against wrong doing and messed up his life and eternity big time. His son, Solomon, was also a very righteous  and good king and leader, but he eventaully allowed others to break him down slowly to accept the wickedness of the the world. Little by little they fell and lost so much here . . . and in the next life!

     How are we going to feel at judgment when we recognize all the dumb things we did: the pride we held on to, the hurt we allowed to control us, the good people we chose to kick out of our lives Or those we added that had a bad influence on us? All those little things we held on to instead of letting go! How will we feel knowing we could have fixed ourselves with consistent effort and work, but instead we held on tight to our weaknesses and allowed them to grow and control us?!  And now we've lost even more than we lost in mortality!? We've lost our chance to live with those we love!

     BUT it is not too late!!! We are still here in mortality! We do not have to live with regret here . . . nor there! There is still time to make those changes we need to make that will bring us step by step closer to our Savior so that at the final judgment we can have eternal happiness with those we love!!!
