God's Love

      Have you ever wondered, especially in those times when all seems dark and dreary or you have messed up something and just can't seem to forgive yourself and move on, how God can love such an imperfect being? Sometimes we may even be at the point of considering ourselves a "waste of space" and how could God love someone like that? Le't stop and rethink this on a bit lower love level than God's love!

     Are you a parent? Are your children perfect? Do they always do everything 100% the way you want them to? When they mess us do you forgive them? Do you try to help them see that we all make mistakes and that does not make us bad? At least, it doesn't if we are trying to overcome those mistakes! I just know from my own personal point of view and experience, as a mother, that I love my children with every fibre of my being and even though I know they are not perfect and many of their choices I may not agree with, I still love them. We do not have to agree 100% with one another to still love one another. My children are a blessing in my life and always will be. And I will never quit loving each and every one of them no matter what they do. I may not like their choices, but I love them. And my love for them will not die or shut off no matter what! And I can even add to that same love my "grandchildren"!!  

     So stop and think about it. If we, imperfect mortals, can love our children and  grandchildren even though they are not perfect and mess up, as we all do, then why should we question whether a perfect Being can love us?!? God is our Father and He is a perfect being who knows and understands love 100 time better than we do. He loved us before we even understood what love was. And He always will!
