A Thought From the Book of Mormon
"There is nothing which is secret save it shall be revealed; there is no work of darkness save it shall be manifest in the light; and there is nothing sealed upon the earth save it shall be loosed." 2 Nephi 30:17. There is a lot that could be said about this, but I just want to share one thought that repeatedly occurs to me as I have read this. This verse should give us all pause; time to think about each thing that we do in this life, preferably BEFORE we do it because ALL we do and all we are will be revealed! So if what we do, or are going to do, we don't want people to see or know about, we best not do it or get rid of it through proper repentance because it will be known to all sooner or later. We should try our best to live our lives so it is an open book and we would not feel nervous or scared or ashamed for anyone to see our life at any time. That way of living also affords us peace of mind here and now and added strength to keep going with God's help.
