Scripture Share OR Modern Day Reality

      While studying my scriptures today I came across some scriptures that made me consider the world around us. That happens quite frequently, especially as I read The Book Of Mormon because so many of the scenes that happen in it remind me so much of what is happening all around us today. So I am going to share these few verses with you and then I am going to let your own mind find similarities with modern day reality! 

     "For behold, the Spirit of the Lord hath already ceased to strive with their fathers; and they are without Christ and God in the world; and they are driven about as chaff before the wind. They were once a delightsome people, and they had Christ for their shepherd; yea, they were led even by God the Father. But now, behold, they are led about by Satan, even as chaff is driven before the wind, or as a vessel is tossed about upon the waves, without sail or anchor, or without anything wherewith to steer her; and even as she is, so are they." (Found in The Book of Mormon in Mormon 5:16-18, if you would like to look it up yourself. And there are many more "modern day scenes" that could be added from these ancient scriptures.)
