Maybe the "End"?!

Atheist Statement #7 "If God wanted to remove our "sin" it should be able to do so without murdering its own son."
God did not murder HIS son, men did! Jesus's own people rejected Him and set Him up to be crucified. As you understand God's plan for all of HIS children (as was explained with a lot of detail in a much earlier blog) you understand the need for someone to "volunteer" to give his life so that we can all repent and be forgiven for the wrong things we do. Jesus Christ voluntarily suffered for all the wrong things anyone on this earth has done and then allowed others to crucify  Him as further demonstration of His love for us and for our Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ was half God! He DID NOT have to suffer and die for us! He could have stopped it  and walked away from it at any moment, but He chose to give His life for you and me so that someday we can return to our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, IF we choose to follow the example set by Christ's life here on earth.
As a parent, do you not make sacrifices for your children? Or how about a sibling who needs your help? How many people have given up a kidney to save a another's life? Mothers, techinically, put their lives on the line to give birth to their children! And some actually do die in childbirth, but gratefully not as often as it used to happen. Would you give your life for your child? For a family member? For a friend? For a stranger? There are many people  who do choose to give their lives to help others. I remember when I was younger there was an airplane that crashed into a river in the middle of winter somewhere back east. There was a man, just someone who happened to be there at that time, who swam back and forth saving life after life of people he did not even know and before they could save him, the cold and exhaustion took over and he died. There are good people all over in this world who would and do give their lives for others, even other people they do not know. Policemen, firemen, rescue workers, and soldiers do it all the time, so why not Christ? Someone willing to give their life for others proves a very deep and sincere love for his fellowman!
God CAN do all things, but even HE is obedient to the laws He has placed. If HE chose to do anything and everything HE wanted  "good or bad" that would put HIM on our level and thus HE would not be a God!
