Stuck or Not?!?!?

      With this blog I just want to give you something to think about. How many times do you wish you could go back to a certain time in your life and just stay there? I know I do many times, but then I think of all the good things I have now that I didn't have then. So as with all aspects of life, we gotta take the good and the not so good! But let's just consider something for a minute or two.

     Let's say your favorite time in the past were your years in Elementary School. I had some great times then, some wonderful friends and even a few awesome teachers I totally adored! Did you? BUT, how happy would you be if you were stuck there forever and ever and ever? Would you learn and progress? Would those good things you are learning finally get old and you get bored and quit trying to learn? Well, I guess after 20 to 30 years in Elementary School you really would have everything learned for that age and then what?!

     How about being stuck in your 16th year of life forever? Those fun and yet sometimes frustrating years of dating? The sports you excelled at repeated over and over!? And those of us that were "theatre nerds", how many plays and musicals could we do before we finally got sick of them?! Well, maybe never, but at the same time, isn't there more to life than just those "16 year old things"?

     So what am I driving at here? Really the very basic reason why we are here on this earth! For what? For each and every one of us to learn and grow and progress to the best of our abilities in all areas of life. That is God's plan in simple terms: Learn! Grow! Progress! AND with time and effort become like Him! He did not send us here to get stuck on any one level! He wants us to become the best we can be at all levels, BUT He also realizes that it will take time, patience, work, mess-ups, trying again and again sometimes. He also realizes that some of us will set the world on fire in some areas and totally struggle to move an inch in others. That is life! We are all different and we all learn and grow at different levels in different areas! But we can do so much to help one another as we help ourselves AND that is His basic plan! So give it some thought and then let's move on together as best we can!!!
