Trials, Tests, Time

      Another of my favorite persons in in the Old Testament is one that probably many would favor: Job! What an example he is to us of faith, courage, strength, and the ability to just keep going through whatever is thrown at him. Interesting thing, he was a well to do person in every way until the trials came upon him. He lost everything! And yet he hung on and when he had proved himself faithful to the Lord through it all, he was once again blessed with all things, even more than before.

     I have pondered how he did it many times, especially when I am faced with trials and struggles. Job was a mortal man and made some mistakes, just like all of us, but he tried to do all he could to put the Lord first in his life, even in those trials he faced. He did not know how it would end, but he maintained his faith in God! None of us know how things will turn out for us, in good or bad, but I pray that I can have the faith and courage, as Job had, to keep going and never doubt that the Lord WILL come through  in His time and when I have proven myself worthy of whatever blessings He wishes to bestow upon me! I hope that Job can also give each of you an example of faith and courage to follow through your own trials in life!!!
