It Is That Month!!!

      It is that month!!! What month, you say?!?! Well, the month that we associate with "love"! Isn't that what Valentines Day is all about? Love! And IF you really stop and think about it, isn't that what God is all about as well? After all, what are the two greatest commandments? Isn't the first one to love the Lord and the second to love your neighbor? But have you ever really thought about all the commandments the Lord gave us that have love in them? Like "love one another as I have loved you", or "love your enemies", or "ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another." And I could fill pages with scripture quotes about love, but it might be best if you look them up and study them on your own. I can promise that you definitely will not run out of reading material. But the great thing about the love we receive from God, as well as the commandments He gives us about love, IS that they are not just for one day in the year OR for one month of the year! Love should be lived every moment of every day! Maybe we don't love as perfectly as God does yet, but have you ever heard the saying "practice makes perfect"? And after all, that is why we are on this earth "to practice doing better things to become better people until one day we can  live as God lives and love as God loves!  An awesomely wonderful goal that we can all work on step by step, day by day, and heart to heart!!!
