All Time Favorite!!

     I sort of wrote about my "all time favorite" person in the scriptures in my blog last week, but I wanted to add a bit as to why He is! He, of course, refers to Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Redeemer! It is awesome to me that we have a big brother who was willing to suffer for all of our mess-ups, wrong doings, bad choices, sins, weaknesses, and on and on. He came to earth, as we all do, born as a baby who grew into a child, a teen and and an adult. And through all that time He always chose to do the right things. He grew to be the perfect man and perfect example for us to learn from and follow. He taught so many truths and lived an example of each of those truths! His heart was filled with love for each and every one of us, his brothers and sisters, that He willingly suffered the pains and anguish for us so that we wouldn't have to! BUT it does require us to repent of any and all of our wrong doings in order to receive His mercy and love. If we do our best to follow His example and give it our best effort in all things, He makes up the difference. He will forgive us and continue to help us over and over and over again! I just cannot thank Him enough for all He has done, still does, and will continue to do to help us fulfill our purpose in this life. Making it possible through His resurrection and atonement for us to return to our Heavenly Parents and become as they are and as He is! He did it all for us, but He never forces us to follow. It is always our choice to accept or reject what He offers. Again, I am so grateful for Him and hope and pray that each of us will live so His ultimate and wonderous sacrifice for each of us will truly be worth it in His book, so to speak!! I testify that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, Alpha and Omega, our Savior and Redeemer. . . and my favorite person in the scriptures!!!!
