A "Gratitude" Break

I am going to take a break from favorite scripture people, although I only have one left, to express my gratitude for our holiday that is coming up as well as a few other things! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year! I have pondered why and I think it is because I grew up enjoying the wonderful experience of being in a home with family who truly loved one another and worked at keeping those relationships strong. Whether we were with Grandparents in their homes or in my parents home, there was just a solid firm feeling of love and gratitude for each other! Helping make the food, gathering around the table to bless it and then enjoying it was just so filled with love, appreciation, and good feelings all around. Those memories lift me up and remind me of how blessed I am with good family, friends, and people in my life. And I am grateful for a day that we can celebrate giving "Thanks" to God for all He has given and continues to give us! But also to be able to thank those other people around us for all they do to keep us going! So may I just thank each and every one of you who read my blogs for being a good and positive support in my life! May you have a Thanksgiving filled with love, security, peace, and the blessings God continues to pour down upon you.
